Changling Rinpoche
Changling Rinpoche was born in Kalimpong, India, where he studied English at Dr. Graham’s School. At the age of ten he as recognized by both Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Penor Rinpoche as the main tulku of Changchub Ling Nyingma monastery in Central Tibet. He was enthroned and entered Shechen Tennyi DargyeLing Monastery in Nepal, where he received teachings and transmissions from Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche until the latter passed away in 1991.
When Rinpoche was twelve years old, he entered Shechen Shedra (Philosophical College) and completed his studies at the age of twenty. He has continued to teach at the college while at the same time studying with Trulshik Rinpoche, Rabjam Rinpoche, Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche and other lamas.
Rinpoche is very knowledgeable in the intricate details of ritual, and is an expert in the the ritual tradition and ceremonies of the Shechen lineage. He resides in the monastery in Nepal. He teaches throughout North America and Asia.
