The same activities are continuing even now with Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche…..Although: Now there are 400 monks (less than 200 in 1990). Many of the very young tulkus and monks have grown-up. And, our monastery has been badly damaged by the earthquakes.

This year the ceremonies will be performed, but not in our beautiful temple as the walls are being demolished. The sacred dances seen here will take place again in 2016, but not in our torn-up courtyard. The magnificint murals seen in the video are damaged and we are trying to restore at them. This is a long and expensive process.

Please help us to Rebuild and Restore Shechen.
