A small retreat center was recently built on the hill above Shechen Orgyen Chozong Nunnery in Bhutan at the request of the nuns who wanted to do intensive meditation practice. Seven nuns are in retreat practicing the terma cycle of teachings of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

They are guided by Rabjam Rinpoche and a retreat master. Before they began their retreat, they received additional training from Trulshik Rinpoche. This is a unique opportunity for women to practice in ideal retreat conditions.
