One hundred nuns live, study, and practice meditation at the Shechen Orgyen Chozong Nunnery in Bhutan. Two graduates from the Shechen Philosophical College teach an intensive nine-year college or shedra course. About 50 women are in this program. This training will create well-educated future women teachers who have earned the equivalent of a Ph.D.
