Meet two new teachers who have officially joined the staff of the Shechen Secondary School in Nepal.

Ani Tsultrim Dolma is one of two Tibetan language teachers:

“I am a nun who was born in Tibet. In 1990, I went to South India in 19 to study at the Jangchup Choeling Nunnery in South India for 13 years.  I continued my studies in the Coppan Monastery in Nepal and taught Tibetan language for 8 years. I am so happy to be able to join Shechen Mahaboudha Vidyalaya (The Shechen School) to teach Tibetan language. It is a great joy to be able to serve this beautiful school. The students are learning quickly and their studies and discipline is very good. Thank you.”

Kiran Lama is our new English teacher:

“I am from the Gorkha district of Nepal, and studied at Thrangu Rinpoche’s School (Shree Mangal Dvip) and graduated from Kathmandu University where I am also studying Buddhist Philosophy. This year I joined Shechen Mahaboudha Vidyalaya  to teach English. I am grateful to be able to teach here: the working environment is friendly and cooperative, with good leadership.”
