Update on How to Fund Shechen Nepal Earthquake Relief

May 3rd, 2015  |  Published in NEWS

There have been numerous articles and reports on the Internet about sending funds to help the victims of the Nepal earthquake.

Please be assured that any donations made through the Shechen website via Paypal, credit card, wire or bank transfer are completely safe and will be used only for earthquake relief.

Previous postings suggested that donations could be made directly to our Nepal bank. However, at this point PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY CONTRIBUTIONS DIRECTLY TO OUR NEPAL BANK ACCOUNT.

To make a donation from Taiwan or China, please email shechen@sprynet.com for instructions.

We urge you to consider making a one-time or monthly donation to Shechen so that we can rebuild the severely damaged buildings as well as continue to offer emergency aid and relief to the local communities at your earliest convenience: https://shechen.org/donate. Please mark your donation “Earthquake Fund.”

There is no danger of any funds being seized or misused. Funds have already been made available for immediate use for earthquake relief.

For updates on the crisis, and to see the impact your donations are having across Nepal, visit our website at https://www.shechen.org and follow our official Facebook pages.
